new year, new me

hello! i've been absent from a ton of my original spots, discovered new things, and changed my life in a completely drastic way that i could've never predicted. from ditching a smartphone and using a flip phone for my day-to-day communication tasks to utilizing my computer more to even getting back into old hobbies! one of these said hobbies is coding, which i just did through revamping my website. i changed it from the stereotypical "neocities three-column layout" achieved by using blocks to a two-column website using flexboxes! this is the first time i actually worked with flexboxes! i experimented a bit, as i initially wanted to just recreate the whole website except the only differences were flexboxes, but i realized that the website didn't really need three columns, as it was just there with nothing to add.

this year, i plan on getting back into cooking and music! i want to be involved with the aspects of life i enjoy, since i think that getting back into the groove of things will definitely help me feel productive and healthier. with the measures i've already been taking in my personal life, including ways to occupy myself with tangible activities that i can actively participate in, i'll definitely improve my quality of life. i also want to discover new music and enjoy the music i already have in my library! i may or may not get back into the old communities i was in, not because i'm against them or anything, but because my interest has been directed toward other communities that capture my interest more.

since i've been gone, i'd like for you to know that i am the proud owner of a flip phone and an ipod! at the moment, that combination has been suiting me well, since i also have an ipad i can use for very important tasks in the case that i need a mobile device for something and my laptop isn't within reach. i am officially a college student! i'm in my second semester for computer information technology at the moment, which gives me something to do, something to work toward, and overall prepare me for the industry!

generally? i've been doing great! i'll definitely write back here again when i have something to blog about. in the meantime, i'll still be here!
